CCHP has been designed with the safety of clients, staff, riders and horses paramount.

The location of CCHP (outside the floodplain) and the design /layout of its facilities (including the first and only covered riding arena in Cairns) means we are able to provide agistment and riding facilities that can be used all year round. Given the heat and prolonged wet seasons experienced in Cairns our facilities enable clients to ride and train their horses and for events to be held during the traditional off season of November to April and riding lessons to operate throughout the day and year.

Our facilities include:

• Riding School with a wide range of quality horses and ponies. Lessons are generally conducted in the covered arena.
• Extensive trails through the 36 ha property
• 14 Single Horse Agistment paddocks (with stable and private tack/feed storage)
• 6 Two Horse Agistment paddocks (with stable and private tack/feed storage)
• 2 Multiple Horse Paddocks (well treed - no tack or feed shed)
• 70m x 30m covered, lit and fenced sand arena
• 70m x 30m outdoor sand arena
• 60 x 20 outdoor fenced sand arena
• large grassed jump arena
• Two 17m dia. round yards
• car parking for riding school customers
• tack room and feed storage area for school horses
• facilities buildings incorporating reception (with tea and coffee facilities), showers and toilets
