CCHP recognizes the importance of continual learning experiences. CCHP hosts regular clinics by staff instructors as well as visiting instructors.

Jump Clinics - for our regular riders children and adults. Jump clinics are regularly held on Sunday afternoons and during the school holidays. Notice of these clinics is placed in the Newsletter and School Holiday Program.

Clinic with Ron Patterson Friday 17 September 2010 - LIMITED SPACES STILL AVAILABLE

Ron is an FEI International Judge (Horse Trials), a National A Level Dressage Judge, an educator and examiner in programs for judges and coaches, and an assessor in the Queensland Inter-School Equestrian Association (QISEA).

Ron has been associated with horses for most of his life (he even rode his pony to school). He was twice the State Pony Club ODE champion representative at the Inter-Pacific Pony Club meet in Canada in the mid 60's. He trained with the late Franz Mairinger at the EFA Centre at Bowral in NSW, and was a leading dressage rider in the late 60's, 70's and 80's.

Clinic with Ann-Maree Cambridge (nee Lourey) Thursday 30 September and Friday 1 October 2010
LIMITED SPACES STILL AVAILABLE

Ann-Maree is a nationally known Grand Prix level dressage rider and specialist coach (NCAS Level 2) who teaches at all levels from five-year-olds on school ponies to FEI level champion young riders. Her involvement in the sport includes:

  • Advanced level dressage judge and official mentor to up and coming judges
  • Level 2 NCAS dressage coach and official coach educator, training towards examiner status
  • Area delegate for the Hunter/Central Coast to the NSW Dressage Council
  • Elected member of the NSW Dressage Council
  • VETAB qualified in sports psychology, now working towards diploma
  • 20 years of journalistic experience with Fairfax and overseas. Prolific equestrian journalist: published in Horse Magazine, Horse Hub, Arabian News etc
